California Scholarship Federation (CSF)

The California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is a state-wide academic honors organization whose purpose is to recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement. Being a CSF member helps one grow as a person, assists in social and academic development, and forms leadership skills and qualities. The purpose of Anderson W. Clark Magnet High School's CSF is to foster high standards of scholarship and citizenship on the part of students and to promote appropriate activities among its members.

Application Deadline: Wednesday, 09/03/25 by 3:00 p.m. PST (applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted)

*Information Session: Wednesday, 08/27/25 during lunch in the Cybrary (attending an information session is not mandatory to apply for CSF membership)  

**Things to remember:

  • You need to reapply each semester
  • Late applications will NOT be accepted. Applications missing information will also NOT be accepted.
  • Enrollment status for each semester will be posted directly on the application

Eligibility:

  • Fall semester: 10th, 11th and 12th graders (refer to last semester's grades)
  • Spring semester: 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders (refer to last semester's grades)

Tutoring Sessions:

  • Tuesdays & Thursdays from 2:55-3:30 p.m. in room 1318

Semester Membership Dues:

  • Semester Membership Fee: $5.00 (plus webstore processing fee)*
    • *Fee is due only AFTER you have been accepted as a CSF member for the current semester (please do NOT pay beforehand)

**For 9th, 10th, 11th + 12th grade students → fee also goes towards CSF graduation regalia**

**All dues are non-refundable and non-transferable (regardless of probabtion, suspension and/or expulsion)

  • The Glenn Michelson Memorial Award (essay contest)
    • An essay contest open to all Junior and Senior CSF members of a CSF chapter in good standing. The $1,000 award recipient and his/her adviser will be notified by the selection committee by mid-February. Student application and essay submission form will available on November 1st.
