College Letters of Recommendation & Transcript Requests

College Application Letter of Recommendation Process:

We are in the process of updating our new website – keep checking this page for the latest information.

10/10/2023

Please allow your teachers and counselors a generous amount of time to write your letters of recommendation by notifying them as soon as possible if you need a letter of recommendation for any university you may be applying to. In order to complete this process, counselors need you to complete the following documents by OCTOBER 15, 2023. Carefully read through the procedures before beginning to work on the remaining documents.

Failing to submit your Brag Sheet to your counselor/teacher by OCTOBER 15, 2023  deadline could result in the staff member declining to write your letter due to lack of time.

Please be respectful of other peoples' time. If you decide not to apply to a specific university that requires a recommendation letter, notify your counselor/teacher as soon as possible that you will not need a letter from them.

Selective Service:

All males 17-18 years of age: Under federal law, virtually all men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday.  However, the Selective Service System now accepts early submission of registration information by 17-year-old men.  The Agency holds their registration information and automatically enters their data into the system when they turn 18.  If you don’t register, you will not qualify for federal financial aid (FAFSA), Cal-Grants, job training, or State/Federal jobs.  Go on-line @ sss.gov.
