Scholarship Opportunities

All Scholarships require current Seniors to complete and submit their financial aid application (FAFSA).  The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) can be submitted beginning October 1 -March 2nd annually.  All seniors need to apply for financial aid even if attending Community College in the Fall. Class of 2025, be sure to choose the correct college year: 2025-2026 you will begin college 7/1/25 (approximate date).

All Senior students should be searching for Scholarships and applying for them (see links below). There are many search possibilities – google your specific major, college, community service, etc.  Come see Mrs. Bondy during snack and lunch! Never pay a fee to apply for any scholarship!

THE JEANNE WARD FOUNDATION GRANT/SCHOLARSHIP FOR ART STUDENTS - SENIORS ONLY - 2 years of Art in High School + PLANNING ON ART CLASSES IN COLLEGE AS WELL!  

Note:  Photography, video, cinema, and music DO NOT QUALIFY.  They are asking for 4 pieces of actual artwork.  (Applicants have the option of also submitting digital images, jpeg max 2mb format to: nancy@reayshawlaw.com).   Students must deliver all their artwork in person to the Jeanne Ward Foundation, 2425 Mission Street, Suite 1, San Marino, CA  91108 on April 7, 8, or 9th between

the hours of 10am - 4:00pm by appointment only. Call Nancy Shaw at  626 818-0068 or email her at

  • SENIORS - DEADLINE EXTENDED: Clark Magnet High School PTSA Scholarships - Deadline Extended to April 23, 2025.  The Clark Magnet High School PTSA is offering five (5) $200 scholarships to qualifying seniors.  Criteria includes the following (NO APPLICATION FORM...PROVIDE THE INFORMATION REQUESTED):

1.  Paid member of the PTSA. - Submit proof of membership if you have it.   2.  A 150 word essay describing what the PTSA is and how you have benefited as a member. - Include word count.

3.  List your community service information.  All submissions must be e-mailed to clark@glendalepta.org and should include your full name, e-mail address (not GUSD), your phone number and the name of your senior advisor. New - Armenian Relief Society of Western USA, Inc. - Merit Recognition (Scholarship) for seniors of Armenian descent, have a 3.5 or above GPA, active in school and community, and attending college after graduation from high school!  APPLY BEFORE MAY 2, 2025  APPLICATION

 

FOR SENIORS - APPLY HERE HORATIO ALGER SCHOLARSHIP – Career Technical for students pursuing an associates degree or certificate program $2500- application period is March 15-June 15, 2025.  DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE DEADLINES…ACT NOW! FINANCIAL NEED BASED: Same family income guidelines (for Junior scholarship info above) OR Pell Grant Eligibility! Be sure to read all their criteria and requirements!
